Happy Birthday Diane Nov 13th

Neil was so sweet. He bought me these beautiful roses for my birthday along with a cinnamon roll and a smoothly drink for breakfast. I really enjoyed them all.

Neil got home from work at 8:00 AM and still took time to bake and then frost (after his sleep) this beautiful cake. He is so thoughtful!

Neil spared me from having to blow out 44 candles. We didn't want to catch our house on fire.

Here I am with my best birthday present ever! I met him on my birthday 26 years ago. My how time flies.

Thanks everyone for the phone calls, the cards and the presents. You are all so sweet. I love you and the great examples that you are for me. Thanks again to a wonderful husband who even with a super busy schedule took time to make a wonderful birthday! You are the best!!

Our Family

Our family started a long, long time ago. Well at least our kids think so. It has really only been 25 short, wonderful years together. We were married October 14, 1983 in the Logan, Utah temple and just celebrated our 25th anniversary in Hawaii. We have been blessed with four amazing children and 2 amazing sons-in -law for which we are grateful; plus one new adorable grandson who we can hardly wait to spoil. They are the joy of our lives.
Angie our oldest is now 24. She was born on June 23rd, 1984 in Ontario, Oregon. She attended school in Meridian, Spokane, New Plymouth, and Nampa where she graduated from Skyview High School. She went to BYU-Idaho for three years then went on a Mission to Panama. After returning home she was reacquainted with Ben Hodge who had been in her ward previously. They were married March 22, 2008 in the Bountiful, UT Temple. Ben was doing an internship and Angie her Student Teaching when they got married. Angie Graduated from BYU-I in April and Ben is currently working on his Engineering Degree at BYU-I. Angie is working at the Standard Journal (a news paper in Rexburg).
Marcie was born March 25th, 1986 in Boise, Idaho. She attended school in Spokane, New Plymouth, and Nampa where she also graduated from Skyview High School. She went toBYU-I where she met Jared Austin. They were married on May 5th, 2006. They both graduated from BYU-I and are currently living in Tolleson, Arizona. Jared is an art teacher at Country Place Elementary and working on a Masters in Education-Curriculum and Instruction. Marcie is currently an academic counselor at the University of Phoenix, but is on maternity leave. Their new bundle of joy was born October 27th 2008. He was 7 lbs 12 oz and 20 1/2" long.
Jennifer was born October 5th, 1987 in Boise, Idaho. She attended school in New Plymouth and Nampa and was the third daughter to graduate from Skyview High School. Jennifer is now attending BYU-Idaho and will return shortly for her third year of college. Right now we get the joy of having her at home while she is off-track. She is majoring in Child Development and minoring in boys. Okay, so she is actually minoring in dance. While at home she is working for Seminis Vegetable Seeds to pay for college.
Wow we had a boy (finally)! Keith was born in Spokane, Washington on June 7, 1990. He attended school in New Plymouth and Nampa, graduating from Skyview High School. He is attending college at... guess where... that's right BYU-Idaho. It is his first semester and he is loving it! He is majoring in Engineering. He will be home in January for his off-track and to earn money for a mission next summer.
